Afternoon team, Rob Masters Fit college New Zealand tutor personal trainer here to talk today about macronutrients, or in layman’s terms proteins, carbs or fats.

How much of each do you need to consume? Well, it depends on a few things but I want you to stick to the basics unless you’ve got some sort of intolerance, you’re training for something specific or there’s just something you can’t eat. Okay, carbohydrates; fifty to sixty percent of your diet. Protein; twenty-five to thirty-five percent and the rest in good fats that should see you on the right track to having a good healthy diet. If you’re not sure have a look on the internet.

Feel free to give us a call we’re happy to provide a little bit of advice, particularly if you’d like to be a personal trainer and you want to learn more about what you need to prescribe your clients on a basic nutritional level.

Have a great day.  I’m off to eat a little bit of protein here with my chicken.

Catch you later.
